Extensive experience spanning forty in the public and private sectors, majority of which has been in the health care sector (Alberta and Saskatchewan). Career has involved policy development, strategic planning and program planning in various service areas, extensive work with boards and executives, program managers, physicians, non-government organizations, professional associations, and politicians in areas of funding, governance and accountability

Career has included executive and operational leadership of a large and geographically decentralized organizations, executive management for various portfolios with Alberta’s health ministry, and chief executive responsibilities for a provincial association providing business services to its member healthcare shareholders.

Credential include Bachelor of Administration (Saskatchewan), plus executive development (Bishops; Queen’s).

Board Member and member of the Finance and Risk Management Committee, and the Governance Committee with E4C (non-profit organization dedicated to addressing the elimination of poverty in Edmonton). More than 15 years as Member of Board of Directors for Alberta Long Term Care Association.
